Is something actually wrong with your pet? Grooming is not the right answer to a medical problem. If your pet has a wound, a hot spot, an ear that smells or is painful, a lump, a limp, a rash that is spreading, is scratching itself raw, or is in any distress, see a veterinarian first and come to us afterwards. We will happily groom around a healing problem once a vet has seen it, and we will tell you honestly when we think something needs a veterinarian rather than a bath.
Send us a message
We answer messages on the same day we are open, and Monday's messages are answered first thing Tuesday. If your pet needs a veterinarian rather than a groomer, please do not wait for a reply from us — call your own veterinary practice.
Finding us
On 61st Street, in Woodside
Three minutes' walk from the 61st Street–Woodside station — the 7 train, the Long Island Rail Road, and the Q32, Q60, Q66 and Q70 buses all stop within a block. There is metered parking on 61st Street and a short loading bay outside the door for drop-off. The entrance is step-free, and there is a bench and a water bowl in the shade by the door for dogs who need a minute before they come in.
Or simply call
Not sure what your dog needs?
That is a normal reason to call rather than an awkward one. Bring the dog in and we will look at the coat, tell you what it needs and what that costs, and charge you nothing for the conversation. Most people book on the spot; some are told to come back in three weeks, and that is a real answer too.
