Terms of use

This page explains how the site works in plain terms, and then states plainly what is invented here, why grooming is never veterinary care, and why no certification is claimed.

This site is informational

Nothing on this site is an offer, a quotation or a binding commitment, because there is no real grooming salon behind it to make one. Every price, appointment slot, opening hour, coat description and piece of advice here is illustrative, written to make a design demonstration read the way a working salon's website would read, not to describe a booking you can actually make.

Use of this site

You are welcome to browse this site and treat it as a reference for what MaiaHost hosting and design can produce. You may not scrape it at volume, interfere with how it runs, or use the contact form to attack or spam the mailbox behind it, and you may not present any part of it as describing a real salon, groomer or animal.

Prices are indicative

Every price on this site — on the pricing page, in each service's price list, and in the grooming plans on the plans page — is an illustrative figure, chosen to make the design realistic rather than to state a real cost. None of it is a quotation or an offer, because there is no real appointment to price. The site also describes a firm price being agreed out loud at the coat check before the clippers come out; that, too, is illustrative rather than a real salon's.

Appointments, lateness and cancellation

The site describes, in illustrative terms, how booking, lateness and cancellation would work at a working salon. Because there is no diary and no salon behind it, nothing below creates an actual appointment or obligation — it exists so the design reads like a real salon's terms.

  • Booking

The site describes booking by phone, through the contact form, or as a walk-in for a quick visit such as nails or ears. A booking made here is never a real appointment, since there is no diary behind it.

  • Running late

The site describes a policy of calling ahead if you expect to be more than a few minutes late, since a delayed drop-off affects the next animal booked in behind you. No fee is described for a single late arrival where you called ahead.

  • Cancelling or rebooking

The site describes cancelling or moving an appointment with as much notice as you can manage, so the slot can go to another animal. A pattern of repeated no-shows without notice would usually mean a request to confirm the next booking by phone rather than a charge added afterwards — a description of policy, not a charge that has ever been made.

This business does not exist

Woodside Pet Grooming, LLC does not exist. There is no grooming salon at 37-32 61st Street in Woodside, NY, nobody grooms a pet there, and nobody named or pictured on this site is a real person or a real animal. Every one of the following is invented:

  • The salon itself, its premises, its six grooming stations and the tools described on these pages
  • Every groomer named or pictured on this site, and the years of experience attributed to them
  • Every price, on the pricing page, in every service's price list and in the grooming plans
  • The grooming schedule, the breed and coat guide, and the booking, welfare and policy pages
  • The coat notes and client comments on the reviews page
  • The opening hours printed in the footer and on the contact page

Every telephone number here is the placeholder 000-000-0000 — not a working number, day or night. Every photograph, and the video on the home page, is AI-generated: none depicts a real salon, groomer, client or animal. The coat notes and comments on the reviews page read like real outcomes and feedback because that makes a demonstration convincing, not because any of it happened, which is why none of it is marked up on this site as a schema.org Review or AggregateRating.

Grooming is not veterinary care

Nothing on this site is veterinary advice, and nothing on it can be, because no page here has examined your animal. Whatever a page describes about a service, a coat or a schedule is general information written for a demonstration, not a diagnosis or a treatment plan for your pet.

Grooming is not veterinary care. Grooming is grooming, not veterinary care. This page describes a service we offer. It is general information, and it is not a diagnosis, a treatment or veterinary advice for any particular animal. We are groomers, not veterinarians — we do not diagnose, we do not prescribe and we do not treat medical conditions. If your pet has a wound, a lump, an ear or skin problem, a limp or anything that worries you, speak to a licensed veterinarian who can actually examine it.

That statement applies to every page on this site without exception, including the pages describing coat types, the grooming schedule and the safety and handling policy. Each one tells you what to look for and when to call a veterinarian instead of booking a groom. We do not diagnose anything, we do not prescribe anything, and we do not treat anything — anything medical belongs to a licensed veterinarian who can actually examine your animal, and a genuine emergency needs one now, in person.

How we handle animals

How we handle your animal. We do not sedate animals and we never will — sedation is a veterinary decision made by a veterinarian, not a grooming shortcut. We use no heated cage dryers of any kind, and no animal is ever left alone with a dryer running. Every pet is hand-dried by the person grooming it. If your animal tells us clearly that it has had enough, we stop, and you get an honest conversation instead of a finished haircut.

No animal is ever sedated here, no heated cage dryer is used anywhere on the premises, and no pet is ever left alone with a dryer running — every animal is hand-dried by the person grooming it. Welfare comes before the haircut: if finishing what was asked for would mean pushing an animal past what it can reasonably cope with, we stop, and it is the finished look of the groom that gives way, never the animal. If your pet tells us plainly that it has had enough, the appointment ends there, and you get an honest account of why rather than a finished haircut.

No certification is claimed

We do not claim anyone else's approval. Woodside Pet Grooming, LLC is not certified, accredited, inspected or endorsed by any grooming association, school or industry body, and this site does not claim otherwise. What we describe on these pages is what we do and how we do it, in plain language, so you can judge it for yourself and ask us about any of it.

Pet grooming is not a licensed trade in New York State, and this salon is not certified, accredited, inspected or endorsed by anybody — not a grooming association, not a school, not an industry body — and it does not say otherwise anywhere on this site. Where a page describes what a groomer here is good at, it is describing a person's years of experience, not a qualification issued by an organisation. No real grooming association, school or product brand is named anywhere on this site, and none has any relationship with it.

Limitation of liability

This site and everything on it are provided as a demonstration, as-is, without any promise as to its accuracy or fitness for any particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from treating any price, coat description, schedule or safety information here as though it applied to a real animal or a real salon.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles — fittingly, since the fictional salon they describe is imagined to sit on 61st Street in Woodside, in exactly that state.

Getting in touch

Questions about this site, this demonstration or these terms can be sent to sales@bestdealwebdesign.com, or through the contact page: a real form, delivered to a real mailbox kept for this demonstration, that does not reach a real grooming salon, because there is not one.
